1) Church - Our Lady of Consolation Parish
Contact Person: Ms. Earlie and Tita Shirley
Rating: B+

Napakaganda talaga ng simbahang ito. :) Ms. Earlie and Tita Shirley were very helpful and accommodating during the preps. The choir was also good. Magaling yung soprano nila who sang a duet with our friend, The Prayer ata yun, hehe. Nalungkot lang ako kasi pinagmamadali na kami sa pictorials kaya wala kaming picture with the maids of honor and best men. They said mahaba raw kasi ang homily ni Fr. Mon at overtime na kami. Sa akin naman, would 10 or 15 seconds matter eh yun na lang ang kulang. May kasunod kaming wedding that time kasi (4:30pm sila, kami 2:45pm). Sigh. Eh minsan ka lang ikakasal.. :(
2) Priest - Fr. Ramon Ma. L. Bautista, SJ
Rating: A+
We met Fr. Mon through my college friend, Jason, who's now a novice in the Society of Jesus. Napakabait ni Fr. Mon at gustong-gusto ko ang homily nya during the wedding mass. He said that for our relationship to last and to remain strong, we should always AFFIRM each other. Affirmation can be done by: 1) Communication, 2) Forgiveness, and 3) Gifting - giving gifts to each other, not necessarily material gifts. We're really happy that he officiated our wedding mass. :)
3) Reception - Bulwagang Recoletos (beside the Parish)
Contact Person: Sir William or Sir Rod
Rating: A

I love the "old-feel" of the venue! They handle reservations for Recoletos, in coordination with the head priest, and they are very accommodating and patient with our inquiries.
4) Catering - Eloquente Catering (Anthurium Package)
AE: Bheng Ignacio
Rating: B+
Okay na kausap si Ms. Bheng. Napakabait pa. :) Food was superb sabi ng mga guests. Hindi kasi kami masyadong nakakain ni Al, not because we were so excited and everything, pero dahil ang dami naming ginagawa (picture here, picture there, chika here, chika there, ganyan) at sunod-sunod na ang parts ng program which required our participation. sayang nga eh, hahaha! I just noticed that there were last minute changes with the layout that we originally agreed upon ni Ms. Bheng. I assumed that Kuya Loi (our coordinator) discussed this with Ms. Bheng kaya siguro naiba. They've informed me ahead naman na if they're not satisfied with the layout, they will be adjusting it.
Sayang lang kasi bumigay daw yung chocolate fountain. parang nagkaproblema with the socket or something kaya hindi na sya "fountain". The waiters also did a good job. They attended to the needs of our guests. Al wanted sana na before the head waiter gives out the cake or extra food, magsabi muna sa amin. Hindi tuloy nabigyan ng cake yung family ni Al, but we shared our part of the cake na lang to them. :) May nagcomment din na the fish (grilled blue marlin) was not that fresh though on-the-spot cooking ito.
5) Photo/Video and Projector Screen- Parkershot Photography led by JR Sebastian
Rating: A+

6) Bridal Gown/Mom's Gowns/Entourage Gowns - Adora's Creations
(including second veil, cord, blue garter)
Rating: A

7) Barong (Groom, Father of Groom, Brother of Bride-Veil Sponsor) - Mang Rey Casedo
Rating: A

I chose a simple design also for Al para magkapartner ang design ng aming suot. :)
8) Souvenir - All-you-want Photo Magnets by Konsepto
Contact Person: Ms. Rachelle and Ms. Audrey
Rating: A

9) Florist (bridal bouquet, entourage bouquet, car bouquet, offertory basket) - Flowers of May
Contact Person: Ms. Tess and Ms. Evelyn
Rating: A
10) Lights/Sound System - c/o Eloquente Catering
Contact Person: Gerald
Rating: B+
11) Cake - Gervy's Amazing Cakes
Rating: A+

12) Make-up Artist - Vicky Sta. Ines (resident make-up artist of our company choir)
Rating: A+

13) Wedding Ring - Tony Berboso (Mama's alahero)
Rating: A+

14) Invites - Printed Matter (San Juan Branch)
Artist: Ms. Candy
Contact Person: Ms. Ruth
Rating: A

15) Bridal Car - kotse namin, Silver Mitsubishi Lancer GLI (in a shot of multiple exposures)
Rating: A+ (hahaha!)
16) On-the-Day Coordinator/Host - Loi Villarama and His Angels
Rating: A
Kuya Loi was also our host and he was joined by Tyrone later in the reception program. Silang dalawa kasi yung powerhouse emcees nung Bb. TransCo 2006 pageant na sponsored ng aming department sa TransCo (where I work). That's where I met Al, hehe, kaya wish talaga namin na sila rin ang maghost ng aming reception. They did an excellent job! Masaya at tumatawa lahat kasi likas silang mga komedyante. S'yempre formal pa rin but with a comedic touch kumbaga.
I just noticed that there were some parts of the program na naiba pero okay lang sa akin kasi maganda naman ang kinalabasan. I trust Kuya Loi and they delivered well.
17) Choreographer - Julius Ryan Batoon
Rating: A+

Love na love namin si Kuya Julius! Sobrang bait! We met him through Ms. Arlene, Al's officemate. He choreographed HR's performance during our company's Anniversary Variety Show Contest. I was losing hope then kasi yung una kong contact na choreo, ang hirap kausap. Naghanap kasi ako last week of August na eh I'm really determined to find one kasi gusto ko talaga na may surprise dance number kami ni Al. Kuya Julius is very patient and accommodating. We only had three practice sessions at nakuha namin kaagad ni Al yung sayaw. Mix of swing and hip-hop ang sayaw namin tapos deretso na sa money dance yung last part. We began with Can't Take My Eyes Off You (swing) tapos Crazy in Love (solo ko) then Sexy Back (solo ni Al) tapos Way I Are (hiphop na kaming dalawa uli) then Sabihin Mo Na by Top Suzara for the money dance (theme song namin ni Al ito kasi uso ang My Girl koreanovela nung time na naging kami, hehehe..). :)
18) Bridal Shoes - Milani, Groom's Shoes - W. Brown, Groom's Pants - Arrow
Rating: A
19) DIY Invite designed by Joseph Manto, my bro's friend (for courtesy invites), DIY Misalette, Arrhae, Matches, Bible
Rating: A+ (shempre!)

I just printed the misalette in the office and then we photocopied it (around 50pcs) tapos nilagyan lang namin ng red ribbon to hold the pages together. I used regular A4 size bond paper lang tapos black ink. For the courtesy invites, we bought papers from National Bookstore - yellow parchment board (around 200 or 210gsm ata ito) for the invite then white board (240gsm) for the map. Nilagyan lang din namin ng red ribbon to hold the pages together. The invite design was done by Joseph, my brother's friend, who works for Penshoppe as a designer. Ang galing nga ng ginawa nyang design! Mahal lang kasi kahit ipa-print namin sa Recto, so we just printed it using our HP colored printer. The arrhae was made in Malolos, Bulacan, a gift from Al's mom, and she used the old piso coin (1972), the big ones, and had them gold plated na lang. :) For the matches, I just covered the box with gold paper and wrote our names on it using red ballpen. Our bible was bought in St. Paul's. Nakalimutan pa nga i-bless during the wedding rites pero oks na rin kasi it was placed alongside our rings nung wedding mass kaya parang na-bless na rin. :)
It was a very succesful movie premiere and I hope magkaroon pa kami ng future movie projects ni Al. Salamat sa aming mga fans! hahahahaha!
Thank you again, Lord, for all your blessings. It was indeed a fun and happy wedding.. :)
